Well Mara is complete and some photos are online of the mask in the Gallery section. Unfortunately I do not have a skin tone suit to do a proper photoshoot, so if anyone can assist in finding me a supplier of good quality kigurumi suits I would greatly appreciate it. I may do some tweaking on Mara later on, but for all intents and purposes she is finished!

The photos were obviously taken outside, it was really cold and windy. So I had to wait for the wind to die down, fix her hair, take the photos I could before the wind came back and repeat. So if her hair is a bit out of place, that's just signs that the wind put up a good fight.

Hello again everyone,

This may not seem like a major update but quite a bit has been done to Mara. The only visible thing is now she has her fangs, but what can't be seen is that her eyes are using a new feature called "Removable eyes". Which is just as it says, it lets you change the eyes out if you want to change the color/style or if they become damaged with time. An interesting example would be to put hearts, stars, dollar/yen symbols in the eyes for when the character becomes fixated on something or someone. So it'll help to create more interesting pictures. Also not seen is that before she was just the painted shell, but now she's fully wearable. So the backing is on and the foam is installed. So the only thing she lacks is her hair and matching eyebrows!

Now that the base painting is done, I'm finally able to work on the facial details. The teeth will come tomorrow, and the eyebrows are purposely left off right now because I want to match the color to the hair as closely as possible. And seeing as I've not ordered her hair yet, I have nothing to match it to =P

Hello again everyone!

This update on the Mara mask is basically two updates in one since I forgot to take pictures just after I attached the ears (Oops!). So this update consists of ears being attached and the flesh tone is also now on the mask. I was taking photos all over the house and even outside trying to get the light right, finally found a good spot just inside near a window with not too much light, but not too little (yes that's very Goldilocks of me). Every other place had me needing to stand in an odd place to take a photo because of light direction or furniture placement, it was so annoying! But at least it was worth it, this picture came out well

Human ears are also new for me since my first mask was Alejandra, who only has cow ears. So below are some closer shots of just the ears in case anyone is interested.

This update photo was taken a while ago, I've just been so busy working on this and my other current production mask that I haven't made time to post it. Currently the ears are attached and it is in the painting stages. I wanted to post a picture of it with ears as well, before painting, but I forgot to take photos! Ooops! For now all I have to offer is a picture of the mask with the eyes cut out. Soon I will have an update with ears and flesh tone!

I'm working on two masks right now, this one "Mara" is for me the other is for a customer who requests no updates be shown. Both masks are at the same stage since I am working on them both at the same time. If you are interested in commissioning me to make a Kigurumi mask for you, my advice is to do it fast because I already have 6-7 commissions so the sooner you get in line the faster you'll get a mask!

Nami and I have been working for the past few days to create a replacement for Kigurumi Catchup and we came up with this!

Nami did all the coding, anything that's not coding I did (images, layout, getting/adding links, etc). It's not 100% done but it's mostly done and functional, the only thing remaining is the little extras we're adding in. So enjoy the new KigUP! service!
